KS1 Ten Pin Bowlers

Mrs Thompson and Mr Shields took 10 Year 2 children to participate in a fun Ten-Pin bowling event. The children were all very excited for an evening of fun bowling. The children also had an opportunity to play in the soft play area. The team participated well and many of the children managed to score a spare or knock down 9 pins. The children all improved their bowling throughout the competition and had a fantastic evening showing good friendship and team work skills. Each team played 2 games - the girls, team scored 69 points and then 94. The boys’ team scored 93 and then 72 points. The points of all the teams were added up and although we didn’t finish in the top 3 places – we finished 4th

and 5th just missing out on medals, so a fantastic performance the children had really enjoyed the opportunity and supported one another. Well done to all the children who represented the school fantastically: Bradley Young, Harry Pearce, Ethan Argyle, Conner Bremner, Frank Nicholls, Layla Prior, Phoebe Titcombe, Eloise Whalley, Betsy Broughton and Armani North. Thank you to the parents who helped transport the children.
