Personal challenge (4) - bat and ball
This weeks personal challenge was how many times you can hit a tennis ball up in the air in 30 seconds?
On Monday it was eyfs/KS1 lead by the boys.
We encouraged the children to take part and quite a few did!!!!!
Theo counted how many they did.
Ethan recorded the scores.
Issac did the timing.
Elwood took the photos.
In KS1 the boy winner was Sonny with 22 hits!!!
In KS1 the girl winner was Pheobe with 15 hits !!!
On Wednesday it was KS2 lead by the girls.
Jirah recorded the scores.
Kelsey did demo.
Lexi took the pictures.
Mileigh did the timing.
The boy winner was George with 51 hits !!! WOW
The girl winner was Tallula with 41 hits !!!! WOW
It was good fun this week we are looking forward to next week!!!!
St Gerard's RC Primary School
In 2018-19, all of the staff and pupils at St. Gerard's, including our fantastic Sports Crew, worked extremely hard to develop our PE and sport provision. We were beyond proud to have this recognised nationally by achieving the Gold School Games Mark for the second consecutive year! In 2019-20 we hope to achieve this accolade again by further strengthening our PE, School Sport and Physical Activity programme.
