Yesterday (27th March), 4CU and 4RO had an athletics competition. It was so much fun!!

Year 4 Athletics Competition

Yesterday me and my class went out to do a competition with the other year 4 class [4RO].First of all, I was in ST Francis team and we went and competed in the hurdles. I was versing Shay in class 4RO AND I WON! I was so happy- it was so much fun and breath-taking I made sure I kept my legs up and focused on getting to the finish line, the rest of my team did really well, we were confident we had this. Next we went onto the relays. When I saw Phillips and Mateus (in 4CU) run I was so impressed, they were so fast and had a great running technique. I was versing Maria, as I was waiting for my team mate to tag me, my heart was beating, I could hear cheering but just focused on trying to get back to my team as quickly as possible and I WON again. We then had a battle off with a sprint race. Philips (4CU) versus Max (4RO) and Imani (4CU) versus Zuzanna (4RO). Philips flew and won the overall race whereas Zuzanna won fastest girl. It was a magical and an exciting day for both classes and couldn’t wait to know who won. Miss Urbanski told my class (4CU) who the winner was and it was …a draw because 4CU won on the hurdles 4RO won on the relays. This was a nice way to end and fair.
