These Girls Can!!!

A great afternoon celebrating Girls' football

Last month we took our girl's football team to Northfield for a competition. With a total of 16 teams we knew that it was going to be tough. 

We played our first game against St John's and won 2-0. Goals were scored by Imogen (year6) and Layla (year5). We were on the right path for a good afternoon of football. Our next game was against St Joseph's Norton before we played Isobelle our goalkeeper said

" Winning our first game has given us confidence, we are now ready to fly".

We went on to win another game but then we were beaten. We finished second in our group. Not enough to qualify for next round but we learnt by our mistakes and had a good, fun afternoon.
