Wheelchair Basketball

During the Sport Relief week, Swallowdale Primary School took part in many sporting experience. One of the most memorable activities was Wheelchair Basketball. We were privileged enough to have a professional Wheelchair Basketball player (Robert) and Paralympic sport coach (John) help teach us the basic skills of the game. Playing wheelchair basketball was a lot harder than we thought it would be but everyone really enjoyed having a go - some of us even managed to score ‘a basket’. 

Sports Relief at Swallowdale this year was lots of fun and showed us how sport can be inclusive to all!
