Inter School Cricket Competition 17th May 2018

A team from Phoenix School took part in a cricket tournament against Heltwate School and Marshfields School.

Orton Park Cricket Club organised a tournament which took place at their cricket ground in Peterborough.  The winners would go on to play in a tournament in Spalding.

We took 7 students from both upper and lower school to play. The matches were umpired by qualified cricket umpires dressed in their cricket whites.  The sun shone and the students thoroughly enjoyed playing, both batting and fielding. 

Unfortunately we were outplayed by both Marshfields and Heltwate and finished 3rd on the day.  The students all received medals.

They are really looking forward to playing again next year.
