Tewkesbury Primary Sports Network's Rounders Competition
The Tewkesbury Rounders competition was the last competitive opportunity for the children of the year.
Tewkesbury Primary Schools' Sports Network's Rounders Competition - Tuesday, 2nd July 2019
Congratulations to our Y6 rounders team who headed over to Tewkesbury School o take part in this year's final sporting event of the year, the Tewkesbury Rounders Competition. Following some very close group games against the John Moore (lost 10 rounders to 8½) and Twyning (lost 10 rounders to 6), the team found themselves in the 5th and 6th place play-off against Tewkesbury C. of E. Primary School. Being edged out of that game too meant that a sixth-placed overall finish didn’t really reflect the excellent play and attitude of the team on the day. The whole team can be very proud of their accomplishments.
Squad: Gracie J (captain), Esme B, Charlie C, Izzy F, Lewis H, Sophie M, Charlotte P, Poppy R, Martha S, Jordan T & Anthony Z
