KS1 Gymnastics festival
A brilliant show of gymnastic ability from our KS1 children.
What a great morning of Gymnastics!
Children from Oreston, Wembury, Goosewell, St Peters Cof E and Yealmpstone Farm attended the festival and were assisted by Coombe Dean Aspire Gymnastics leaders. Children experienced the bars, beam, springboard and trampette as well as learning a new floor routine and competing in the springboard competition.
Well done to all the children for participating with enthusiasm, determination and courage! We had alot of fun! The judges Amiee and Becky watched everyone and chose 2 children from each school to compete in the final of the springboard event. Eventual winners were: 1st Margo - Wembury, 2nd Jacob - Wembury and 3rd Abigail - Yealmpstone Farm. Thanks to everyone for ensuring this event ran so smoothly and successfully. What a fantastic morning!
