School Sports This Term

The Sports Crew (Poppy, Amy, Talia, Isobel) Mrs Skilbeck, 2 Apr 2019

An overview of what we have been doing......

We have had a busy term, competing in several sporting events.

Some of our Year 4 pupils attended a Club Links Day at Queen's Campus, Stockton to sample a few activities on offer outside of school. Some of the activities included Archery, Trampolining, Dodgeball, Cheerleading, Basketball and Netball. We had an amazing time and many of our pupils would like to participate in these sports in the community.

Five of our Year 5 girls made it through to the next round of the Stockton Swimming Gala and are competing tomorrow along with 8 pupils selected to swim in the Panathlon event. We wish them all luck!

Last week we had a gentleman from Destination Judo come into school to teach us some Judo moves. We really enjoyed the experience and got to throw other children safely about!

A group of our Year 5 pupils are involved in a Hockey competition taking place tomorrow. We'll update you soon about the results.......
