Football match

Third fixture of the season!

The football team played All Saints, Alrewas, on Monday.

The pitch at Alrewas is a bit bigger than ours, so the team has to run a bit further!  It was a tight game in the first half: we scored a goal and led one nil at the break.  An equally tight second half saw no goals until the last two minutes in which we scored two great goals.  A 3 nil win was a little unfair on the Alrewas team because they worked very hard.  Their left back was very skillful!  Team WS did deserve their win though and now have 6 points in the league table.
