Philip Neville announced as Keynote speaker for School Games Summit

Posted 31st October 2019

We are delighted to announce we have secured Philip Neville to deliver the Keynote speech at the School Games National Summit.

We are extremely privileged to announce that Phil Neville, current head coach of the England Lionesses’ through to the end of the 2021 UEFA Women’s Championship campaign, will be delivering the keynote speech at the Ricoh Arena on Tuesday 19 November.

The former England, Manchester United and Everton defender is a UEFA Pro Licence holder and was previously first-team coach at Manchester United and Valencia whilst having also worked with England men’s Under-21s.

We are excited for Phil to join us at the Summit which will be a 'game of two halves'! The morning will involve sharing of practice highlighting how colleagues have creatively reviewed the design and delivery of provision to 'Reframe Competition', ensuring a meaningful difference is made to more and different young people. The afternoon will take a deeper dive into the secondary School Games offer and explore whether we are 'Secondary Ready?'

We look forward to spending the day with the School Games network and celebrating their success. If you haven't booked yet - it's not too late! Book here
