School Games National Summit 2023

This year, the National Summit will take place on Tuesday 13 June 2023, and is an opportunity for School Games Organisers (SGOs), Active Partnerships, and National Governing Bodies of sport (NGBs) to get together to look at how they can continue to deliver change locally and make a difference nationally.

The event will focus on three key priorities: the morning will involve sharing of practice, highlighting how we can Tackle Inequalities and ensure we are reaching those who need us most. The afternoon will focus on Youth Engagement and the importance of involving young people in creating their offer, before we develop our understanding of Physical Literacy and share innovative approaches to creating positive experiences.

Venue

This year’s National Summit will take place at the Coventry Building Society Arena, Judds Lane, Longford, Coventry, CV6 6GE.

Due to its geographical position, the Coventry Building Society Arena is within a 2 hour drive of 75% of the population. The venue has 2,000 parking spaces and is easy to access from the local train station and Birmingham International Airport.

Information for NGBs 

There are two different ticket types available for NGBs to select on the booking system; NGB - Attendee and NGB - Exhibitor.

NGB - Attendee 

All School Games NGBs are entitled to one paid for delegate place per organisation giving you access to the whole Summit programme. Please choose this option if you do not wish to take up the opportunity to exhibit.

NGB - Exhibitor 

This year, we are also offering NGBs the opportunity to have a space with a poseur table and stool within the exhibition hall to exhibit to SGOs, Active Partnerships, and fellow School Games NGBs during Registration, Lunch, and Networking times. This opportunity is free of charge to School Games NGBs and includes two delegate passes to attend the Summit sessions on the day.

If you wish to take up the opportunity to have a space within the exhibition, please add the NGB - Exhibitor ticket on the booking system (max. two per organisation). The Exhibitor ticket also gives you access to all Summit sessions on the day.

NGBs have the opportunity to take up both the Attendee and Exhibitor ticket option, providing a maximum of three places in total per organisation. If you have any queries, please contact [email protected].
