Yorkshire Sport Foundation #ThisIsPE

All of us at Yorkshire Sport Foundation wish you well for what will be a challenging half-term. Yorkshire Sport Foundation and leading national organisations, including the Association for Physical Education and the Youth Sport Trust, worked alongside physical educators from across the country to support parents to teach PE at home. #ThisIsPE was one of the resources recommended by the Department for Education to support teachers and parents to deliver physical education during the first coronavirus lockdown. Two-minute videos show parents and teachers free, fun and easy to follow PE activities for the whole family to enjoy together. Each video will focus on a different aspect of the National Curriculum. Our series of short online videos, delivered by PE teachers, will help to continue your child's skill development in PE. You can see the videos listed under each curriculum strand here, or visit the YouTube playlist. The videos have been viewed more than 108,000 times on YouTube alone, with several thousand more views on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. We've prepared a toolkit that contains text you can copy for newsletters, websites and social media. Download it here.
