Week beginning 8th February - Keeping active

A cold and snowy start to the week, but don't let that put you off going outside and being active! Wrap up warm and enjoy the benefits of getting outside. Check out the weekly round up of ideas to keep children and young people in Bucks active.

Week beginning 8th February - Keeping active

Please find below  some ideas for keeping your children and young people active. Please remind pupils to be active over half-term and to get outside and enjoy some fresh air (in a Covid safe manner) ⬇️

South Bucks Challenge - How far can your class run, walk, wheel, scoot or cycle between Monday 8th February and the end of half-term week (Sunday 21st Feb)? There will be a small prize for the top class / individual in the area! See attached log sheet. This can be done in class, at home, as a family or individually. Remember to wear a helmet and follow the highway code.

100 laps in Sir Captain Toms Memory - It has been lovely to see some schools honouring Captain Tom in different ways, including 100 laps of the playground or garden. Can you think of other 100 ideas to complete in his memory?
