Get Set for Milan: inspire children to get active this winter with Team GB and ParalympicsGB
Get Set for Milan is the official free education and engagement programme from Team GB and ParalympicsGB, helping every child get active in the countdown to the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Following the success of Path to Paris – which engaged over 1.7 million people and logged 286 million minutes of activity – this new initiative brings the excitement of the Winter Games into classrooms, playgrounds, youth clubs, and homes across the UK.
What’s included
- Flexible 15-minute activities requiring no preparation or equipment – ideal for PE lessons, break times, youth clubs or home learning
- Inspiring athlete videos introducing winter sports
- An interactive digital map where teams travel virtually from Milan to Cortina
- Digital badges to collect and celebrate progress
Why get involved
Every young person deserves to enjoy an active, healthy lifestyle. Get Set for Milan makes it easy to build movement into the school day, boost wellbeing and celebrate teamwork – all at no cost.
In Path to Paris, 87% of teachers reported increased activity levels among participating pupils, and this next challenge continues that impact with fresh resources and new rewards.
The programme is fully inclusive, and schools, families, and youth clubs are all able to take part, creating a whole-community approach to movement and celebration.
