Record-breaking year for the School Games National Santa Dash 2025!
More than 122,000 young people took part in this year’s festive School Games National Santa Dash, making it the biggest event of its kind to date.
The School Games National Santa Dash 2025 has officially set a new record, with an incredible 122,654 participants getting involved from schools across England!
Young people came together to run, walk, skip, and dash as part of a shared national moment of festive physical activity. Taking place simultaneously across the country, the event highlighted the power of collective movement and celebration through sport and physical activity.
The Santa Dash continues to play an important role in encouraging participation at all levels, offering a fun, inclusive, and accessible opportunity for schools to engage pupils in being active during the winter term.
The School Games would like to thank every school, teacher, and young person who took part and helped make the event such a success. Special thanks also to Ali Watt, School Games Organiser in the Hawthornes SGO Area, for working tirelessly once again in organising and driving the success of the event.
With another record broken, let's build on this success in December 2026!
