School Games Mark 2025/26 Now Open – Apply by 31 July
Applications for the 2025/26 School Games Mark are now open, giving schools across the network the opportunity to be recognised for their commitment to PE, school sport and physical activity.
The School Games Mark rewards and celebrates schools that are providing positive, inclusive opportunities for young people, benchmarked against national criteria. Schools can apply across four levels (Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum), demonstrating both the provision they offer and the engagement of their pupils.
All criteria and guidance documents are now available within your user dashboard, alongside tools to support a strong application. These include detailed guidance for schools, a development tool to help assess current provision, and a case study template for those applying for Platinum.
Applications close at 11:59pm on 31 July 2026. Schools will not be able to submit after this deadline, so early preparation is strongly encouraged.
