Pitch 'O' or pitch Orienteering is a competitive relay type activity mapped across a football pitch. 

  • Number of participants: Group 
  • Purpose of activity: Increase pupil physical activity through map reading skills and route navigation
  • Including all pupils: Ideas for differentiation included 
  • Pupil roles: Participant, official 
  • Space: Outdoors. Ensure the football pitch space is clear from hazards
