Activity details
Score competition is an orienteering event that involves pupils visiting as many controls as possible on a map, in an allotted time.
- Number of participants: Pairs
- Purpose of activity: Increase pupil physical activity through paired competition
- Including all pupils: STEP framework included
- Pupil roles: Participant, leader, official
- Space: Outdoors. Ensure the space is large enough for pupils to run around simultaneously without the potential risk of collision, make sure the boundaries are clear
- Equipment: Control markers or cones, control cards and a stop watch
