Score competition is a fun individual orienteering activity that involves players visiting as many controls as they can in an allotted time. 

  • Number of participants: Individual 
  • Purpose of activity: Increase pupil physical activity through individual competition 
  • Including all pupils: Ideas for differentiation included 
  • Pupil roles: Participant 
  • Space: Outdoors. Ensure the space is suitable for a number of pupils participating at once whilst using a map, make sure the boundaries are clear 
  • Equipment: Markers or cones and control card
