School Games Mark 2023/24 criteria is now live!
The criteria for the 2023/24 School Games Mark is now available to help you plan your application in the lead-up to the window opening on 01 May.
You can download the document by visiting the School Games Mark page. The application window will open on Wednesday 01 May 2024 and close on Friday 26 July 2024. We advise schools to familiarise themselves with the criteria as soon as possible to allow sufficient time to prepare an action plan with their SGO and collect evidence throughout the year, ready for when the application window opens.
The School Games Mark continues to reward and recognise a school’s provision and uptake in the School Games against a national benchmark, and to celebrate keeping young people active. In 2022/23, over 8,000 schools achieved a School Games Mark award.
Participating in the School Games Mark process is an excellent opportunity for schools to evaluate their PE provision whilst also assisting them in developing an action plan for future progress.
