Panathlon

What is panathlon?
The Panathlon Foundation offer three Panathlon formats through the School Games, including Primary Panathlon for primary aged disabled young people. Primary Panathlon comprises of nine sports skills with rules specific to appropriate impairment groups, and prepares children for the Panathlon Multisport.
Panathlon Xtend is for Key stage 3 disabled young people and comprises of up to nine sports skills with rules specific to appropriate impairment groups. It prepares key stage 3 children for the Panathlon Multisport and other Panathlon sports specific events.
Panathlon Multisport for secondary age disabled young people comprises six sports with NGB rules and with some adapted rules specific to appropriate impairment groups – certified adaption.

Get involved
The School Games is inclusive to all young people and provides opportunities for everyone to get involved, either within school, against other local schools, or at county or regional level.
School Games Organisers
School Games Organisers (SGO) help schools coordinate appropriate competitive opportunities for all young people from Key Stage 2-4, to recruit, train and deploy a suitable workforce, and to support the development of club.
