Rugby League

What is rugby league?
As a sport, rugby league aims to be diverse, inclusive, and deliver positive social impact to all participants. The School Games formats encompass a variety of playing styles and are supported by resources to develop players, officials, leaders, and teachers alike.
Rugby league is built on teamwork and respect, and develops lifelong skills that contribute to positive individual development. It can be played as a full, semi, or non-contact game. Team sizes can vary from 5 to 13-players per team and pitch sizes can vary from small (15m x 15m) up to full size. The sport has established community playing opportunities for boys, girls, wheelchair, and physical and learning disability participants alongside a host of social non-competitive offers. All you need to play is a ball and a safe space!
