Get Your School Involved in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026

Posted 10th February 2026

Schools across England and Wales have an exciting opportunity to be part of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, with dedicated activities designed to inspire the next generation of cricketers.

The Women’s T20 World Cup Schools Cricket Day will take place in April, giving schools across England and Wales the chance to celebrate women’s cricket and get pupils active through a shared national moment. Already, over 1,000 schools have expressed their interest – and there’s still time for more schools to get involved.

The official registration system will launch in the coming weeks. Schools that have already registered their interest will be contacted to confirm their place and gain access to a bank of digital school resources to support delivery. Schools will also be linked with their local Recreational Cricket Board, alongside ECB charity partners Chance to Shine and Lord’s Taverners, to help bring the day to life.

To help schools prepare, an inspiring new assembly video is now available and can be used to introduce pupils to the event and build excitement ahead of the day.

Don't miss out on this opportunity to be part of this nationwide celebration of women’s cricket!
