Inspire Young People at the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup

Posted 9th February 2026

We’re excited to share a fantastic opportunity from the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) for schools across the School Games network to be part of a truly unmissable sporting moment.

With the first ball of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 being bowled on Friday 12 June, a special school group booking offer is now live, giving schools the chance to watch the world’s best women cricketers compete on home soil for just £2 per ticket.

Taking place on home soil in England and Wales, the Women’s T20 World Cup is set to be one of the standout sporting moments of 2026. It offers a powerful chance to engage young people, showcase elite women’s sport, and help more pupils develop a lasting connection with cricket.

Bringing pupils to a live international match can help create lasting memories, spark new interests and support schools’ wider work around positive role models, aspiration and belonging.

The ECB is inviting schools to join its mission to help women’s cricket continue to grow and break into the mainstream by filling the stands with young supporters and future fans this summer.

Schools and SGOs are encouraged to explore this offer and consider how attending a World Cup match could enrich their School Games and PE programmes.

Further details on the school group booking offer, including how to secure tickets, are available on the ECB website.
