We believe the School Games has a vital part to play in promoting an active recovery term where the health and wellbeing of young people is prioritised. Young people can reconnect and recover through positive experiences of daily activity and competition as part of the School Games.

Holiday Activities Fund
The Holiday Activities Fund (HAF) programme is funded by the Department for Education and provides holiday activities and food for children eligible for free school meals (5-16 year old) for 6 weeks of the school holiday starting from Easter 2021.

In addition, there is a HAF Active Microsite which provides headline guidance and information about how best to meet and integrate activity requirements into local HAF programmes through fun and engaging physical activity.
