Nudge Up: Reaction challenge is a fast-paced co-ordination handball activity that encourages pupils to react quickly to balls being delivered to them from a partner. 

  • Activity: Individual or pairs 
  • Purpose of activity: Increase pupil physical activity through an individual challenge 
  • Including all pupils: Ideas for differentiation included 
  • Space: Indoors/Outdoors. Ensure the space is suitable for pupils to perform simultaneously 
  • Equipment: Two handball balls or similar and a partner or wall
