Orienteering - Year 3/4/5 and 6

4 children from year 6 and 4 children from year 4 competed in the Wakefield School Games Orienteering competition at St John the Baptist School in Normanton.

Orienteering - Year 3/4/5 and 6

Year 4 and Year 6 teams both qualified for the West Yorkshire School Games Orienteering Competition after finishing within the top 4 schools at the Wakefield Schools Games Competition. 

The year 4 team qualified in 2nd place and the Year 6 team finsihed 4th. They worked really well as a team and completed the course in very quick times. The Year 4 team finidhed 2 minutes quicker than the Year 6 team. 

Both teams used a map to get around the course and recorded each point using a timing device. The next round will be completed after Easter.
