Welldone to team A1 for winning Athelney's Year 6 Football Intra competition

On Tuesday 6th December Year 6 children participated in their first football intra competition. We used the school games layout for this competition. All children showed good Athelney and school games values.

Welldone to all children who took part in this competition. 

Congratulations to A1 for being the overall winners- Simon, Roann, Pepe, Eraldo, Jayden, Isiah and Jaemar! 

Since Autumn Year 6 have been learning skills such as teamwork, social skills, fitness, specific ball skills and importance of being healthy. 

The competition was a nice way to put everything you have been learning in PE in a game situation. 

All children showed  a variety of our school values- community, resilience, respect, collaboration  and confidence. They also showed some School Games Mark Values e.g. teamwork, passion, honest and self belief.
