Boys Futsal Heats

We took part in the Boys Futsal.

Oh what a night (again)!

After the great success from the girls only two nights earlier, it was time for the boys to see if they could do as well as the girls in the Tameside futsal heats.

The first game was a very close game which, thanks to a goal line clearance from Adam, we managed to keep a clean sheet and start the night with a 1-0 win.

After watching the next game, the boys were told that they needed to score as many goals as they could each game as the final standings could go down to goal difference.

They didn’t disappoint in the next match, putting together some excellent passing and coming away with a 5-0 win.

We had to wait a little while for our next game which was against a strong Oasis Broadoak. Oasis may have been a strong team but we were resilient and stood tall and came away with a 2-0 win.

Our final match was to be against our rivals Manchester Road. Again, we knew this would be a tough game but our teamwork paid off and we came away with a 2-0 win.

Champions of Tameside: 4 games, 4 wins, 10 goals scored, 0 goals conceded. Another amazing record!
