Girls Futsal Heats
We travelled to Tameside College for the Futsal Heats.
Oh what a night!
The first futsal event for us this year would see the girls head over to Tameside College to participate in the Tameside futsal heats.
As the futsal event is held at a small venue, only five schools are able to enter per heat however only three out of the five schools who were in the heats actually turned up so this meant that we played each school twice.
After a quick talk on the rules, which are slightly different to football, the girls were ready to go in their first game.
The girls got off to a great start and started with a win, scoring a few goals and conceding a grand total of no goals in this game.
Scoring goals without conceding would be the story of the night for this group of girls as come the end of the night the scoreboard read: played 4, won 4, scored lots, conceded 0. I mean, you can’t ask for better than that!
Maximum points on the night. Another night for the girls to be very proud. Girls, you do yourself and the school proud every time you play. On to the finals now. Good luck girls.
