We went to the School Games Lacrosse tournament and won and came third

School Games Lacrosse

On a stormy February afternoon we headed to Great Academy Ashton to take on 15 teams across Tameside to try to be crowned Tameside Lacrosse Champions and qualify for the Greater Manchester School Games event.

Our A team finished as runners up last year and started very well once again with a super win in our first game starting us off in the perfect way.

We continued this in our second game with another super victory, with two goals from Daisy, fresh from hurting her finger, sealing an impressive victory.

In our last group game we played Manchester Road 2, who frustrated us for large parts of the game with defensive tactics. However we kept going and

eventually won 2-1 to ensure we progressed to the final 3.

Our B team played a very close first game against St John Fisher drawing 2-2 before winning their next two games with some fantastic play from Oscar. They needed to beat Gee Cross Holy Trinity to qualify for the last 3 and produced their best performance so far to qualify.
