Intra sports Mixed Netball Festival

Miss Catton, 19 May 2023

Year 6 Boys & Girls Netball The netball team did so well last night at their netball festival, hosted by Sydenham School.

The quality of the netball played was outstanding with lots of children showing what they had learnt in their PE lessons and after school clubs.

Our Kilmorie team had 6 matches to play and won 4 of them, some of the games were really tough but our amazing children battled to the end of every game. The matches were very close with just the odd point winning a game. Kilmorie finished in joint 2nd position with Beecroft and Fairlawn and were presented with silver medals. Every child went home with a certificate.

A big thank you to Daisy-Mae and Isabella for leading the team, I couldn't have done it without you! Well done to everyone for such a great, energetic, fun evening of netball.  A special mention to Angelo for stepping in at the last moment, to Xavier for perseverance - never giving in if the ball went in or not, Bella for being a machine in the center, Emil for consistently battling on the court and Amelia who scored the perfect point! You guys deserved to be joint second!
