Tag Rugby

Belle, 14 Oct 2019

This term we have been learning how to play Tag Rugby. Belle in Year 4 explains more.

We have been playing Tag Rugby for about a month. Before the class starts warming up,Miss Alderslade tells us to put a tag belt around our waists. The colours are orange, green or blue. In the warm up we run around and take other people's tags. Then we shout 'tag!' and give the tag back. Next, we get into groups of three and play a game of defenders and attackers. The three attackers have to try and get the rugby ball across the line without the three defenders getting the person with the ball's tag. Miss Alderslade then tells us to swap our roles with the group behind us. It's lots of fun. I love Tag Rugby!
