Personal Challenge 6

Justin - Year 5 Sports Crew, 1 Apr 2019

This week's personal challenge was 'how many kick ups can you do in 30 seconds?' A few people took part in this personal challenge in key stage 1 and in key stage 2.

Personal Challenge 6

On Tuesday and Thursday children from key stage 1 and key stage 2 took part in the personal challenge.  There was lots of good scores.

My job was to  take the photos, I got some good ones!

Eden's job was the timekeeper.

Aidan and Oliver's  job was to demonstrate.

Sophie and Laila-Su's job was to write down the scores.

Lennon from year 5 stated "I felt really good to have won the personal challenge because I was the best in key stage 2. I really like playing football which is why I knew I'd be good at this challenge!"

Lydia in year 1 won this week's personal challenge. She said " I really enjoyed kicking the ball up and I feel really happy, I had a really big smile on my face when I got my certificate in assembly and my mummy said you won again!!"

Lots of people enjoyed taking part in this challenge and are eager to see what the next one is!

St Gerard's RC Primary School

In 2018-19, all of the staff and pupils at St. Gerard's, including our fantastic Sports Crew, worked extremely hard to develop our PE and sport provision. We were beyond proud to have this recognised nationally by achieving the Gold School Games Mark for the second consecutive year! In 2019-20 we hope to achieve this accolade again by further strengthening our PE, School Sport and Physical Activity programme.
