Year 3 Intra house tennis competition
Year 3 took part in a tennis competition in PE. We took part in the competition to show what we had learnt in PE this half term. There were 4 teams (Fisher, More, Postgate and Clitherow) We were excited to take part in the competition!
We had to take part in different challenge, we had to throw the ball in the bucket, knock the cans down, volley the ball in to the bucket and pass the parcel.
We had to work as a team to try and get the gold certificate.
We added the scores up from each challenge:
In joint 1st place were More and Fisher with 75 points,
and in joint 2nd place were Clitherow and Postgate with 42 points.

St Gerard's RC Primary School
In 2018-19, all of the staff and pupils at St. Gerard's, including our fantastic Sports Crew, worked extremely hard to develop our PE and sport provision. We were beyond proud to have this recognised nationally by achieving the Gold School Games Mark for the second consecutive year! In 2019-20 we hope to achieve this accolade again by further strengthening our PE, School Sport and Physical Activity programme.
