Year 3/4 Tag Rugby

Justin, Aiden, Byron & Oliver - Year 5 Sports Crew, 8 Oct 2018

On the 1st October 2018 the Year 3 children went to play in a tag rugby competition at Middlesbrough Sports Village to win, obviously!

Year 3/4 Tag Rugby

The weather there was absolutely amazing.  We were so glad that we won but at the end of the day it's all about having fun! Saying that, we were champions of the tag rugby for the plate competition.

It was a fun day and it was really enjoyable. Everyone was so excited that they won!

Ebony  in Year 3 said "I was so excited that we had won"

Archie in Year 3 said "It made me feel very happy because we won all of our games in the afternoon and we won the competition"

Nancy in Year 3 said "I really enjoyed playing as a team"

St Gerard's RC Primary School

In 2018-19, all of the staff and pupils at St. Gerard's, including our fantastic Sports Crew, worked extremely hard to develop our PE and sport provision. We were beyond proud to have this recognised nationally by achieving the Gold School Games Mark for the second consecutive year! In 2019-20 we hope to achieve this accolade again by further strengthening our PE, School Sport and Physical Activity programme.
