Year 4 Dodgeball Festival

Wednesday 20th November 2019 - Mr M. Kitchinson, 29 Nov 2019

Congratulations to the Year 4 Dodgeball team who represented St. Patrick’s at the recent dodgeball festival. The tournament focused on fair play and the whole team showed great sporting qualities throughout.

 Maisy, Year Four writes

‘Last Wednesday, seven of us went to Manor Sports Complex after school for a Dodgeball tournament. We played our first game on court one. We played three 2 minute games against the same team. As each teams was made up of six, one person sat out each game. When it was my turn to sit out, I was sweating and I got a drink in the chill-out space.

After our three games, we moved to the second court and had another three games against another team. Straight after, we played another team and then we had a rest. Mr Kitchinson and Mrs Smedly talked to us and gave the Team a Golden Star.

I felt nervous and scared at the start of the tournament, then I thought I was playing with my friends and I felt ok. I would recommend it to my other friends to have a go. When we finished I was proud of everyone and myself.’
