KS2 Badminton
The Downs were GOOD at the BADminton!
4 children from KS2 went to the Mark Hall Sports Centre on Friday 16th November to take part in the Harlow and Districts School Sports Association Badminton competition.
Despite their inexperience, they managed to transfer their skills from Tennis to produce a wonderful performance. They managed to beat Hare St, Hatfield Heath and St James to top their group and make it to the semi-final. Unfortunately they were beaten by Little Parndon but it was very encouraging to see how well they played in a brand new sport.
