Cyclecross @ Heles School
A beautiful day for a fabulous morning of cycling at Heles School for our cycling team.
Autumn Term always brings new adventures for our children, and last week it was our new team of cyclists turn to travel to Heles School and take part in the annual 'Cyclocross' event.
Teams from Plymouth Primary schools meet and compete in an off-road cycling race on what this year proved quite a challenging track.
In true Wembury style, our team of four year 5 and four year 6 children rose to the challenge and battled their way around the course with some great results; the main one being that not ONE of our team fell off their bike!
We finished in 6th team place overall, which they were delighted with, and most importantly a great day was had by all!
A big thank you to Plymouth ssp who organised and ran the day - always a fantastic event!
