Year 3 Tri-Golf Competition

Year 3 Team, 12 May 2023

On Thursday, 12th May 2023, ten children from Year 3 took part in a Year 3/4 Tri-Golf competition at St Bedes.

Year 3 Tri-Golf Competition

It was a great tournament and everyone was super excited for it to start.

The first game was the dominoes game where everyone had to hit the golf ball to a cone. I think it was our best game because we scored one hundred points.

The second game was where we had to hit the golf ball over the river and then hit it into a hoop. If we hit it over the river, we would score ten points and if we hit it into the hoop, we would score five points. It was tricky and hard to hit the ball high.

The next game was the grand national and this was hard too so we didn't get that many points but we had so much fun. The whole team got so close but, overall, we scored thirty-five points in this round.

Our next event was where we had to hit a ball into an area. There was a blue area worth twenty points and a yellow area worth ten points.

In our final round, we played bullseye. It was like a dartboard and you could either score ten, twenty, or fifty points. We found this challenging but we scored thirty-five points.

Overall, we learned a new skill and had so much fun. We came third overall!
