Indoor Athletics

On Tuesday 30th, some Year 6s took part in an event at Oaklands collage. It was an indoor athletics competition and 16 schools took part. In 1st place were Gardenfields, in 2nd place were Skyswood, and in 3rd place were Wheatfields Junior school. It was a great experience to represent the school and to come 3rd place out of 16 schools. There were lots of different races and field events. They were so fun and exciting to take part in.  There were lots of different activities. The children who took part had so much fun and are proud to have represented the school and to have taken part and most importantly to have fun! This means that we are through to the next stage on the competition!
