An Exciting Half Term!

Sports Events in Summer 1

We are in the middle of an exciting term, along with the SATs we are looking forward to competing in a few sporting events including: Y5/6 Cricket, Y5/6 Athletics and an Inclusive Swimming Gala Final at Ponds Forge, Sheffield! At the start of this term we had Destination Judo into school to teach us how to gently flip other children onto the floor. He also taught us how to land properly. We had lots of fun and some of us would like to take up Judo as a hobby. KS1 had some taster sessions with Darren from All Stars Cricket who introduced some key cricket skills to our younger children.  We are running lots of after-school sports clubs (take a look at our website for more information).
