Tag Rugby Competition

On Wednesday 14th March Year 5/6 went to a tag rugby competition at Old Swinford Private School. Unfortunately one of our fastest girl couldn’t make it as she was very ill. We had to carry on without her but we still played very well. Our captain was Brandon Finch and our vice captain was Kelsey Martin. 

Our first match was against St Margret School, it was very hard as we haven’t been training for that long. The team who played this match was Brandon, Kelsey, Remiah, Carter, Kaydon , Maja, Bailey and Dylan. Unfortunately we lost this game and our opponents had won this match by 5-0 . 

We went straight into another game and were still out of breath and gave the opposition an advantage we played extremely well in this match after a team talk from our amazing manager Mrs. Abbiss. Unfortunately we lost this game 4-3 the scorers were Remi scored 2 and Bailey scored 1. 

The next match was against Dudley Wood B we won this game 3-2 this game was much easier than the others, the scorers  were Maja scored 1 and Brandon scored 2. 

The last match was against Howely Grange we lost this game 3-2 our scorers were Carter and Brandon they were fantastic! It was a very hard game.  We came 4th and extremely proud of ourselves!
