Yewtree inta competition (4 Morpurgo)

Yewtree sports crew hosted a intra dodgeball competition for year 4 Morpurgo at Yewtree primary school.

This was the first year 4 intra competition and the boys and girls were able to test their skills against one and other. The Yewtree Sports Crew ran the event contributing to all roles such as: referees, organisers and leaders. Firstly, they started off with a warm up game called copy me, where all the children had to copy the actions the teacher did. This games was used to teach the pupils the vital skills of dodgeball getting them ready for what was ahead. Year 4 Morpurgo played a game created by the Sports Crew which was titled dodgeball showdown, where pupils stood back to back with one and other before taking 5 strides forward and releasing their ball at their opponent like western standoff. "We loved this game, this game was cool" Georgia. They then moved on to quartered dodgeball where the class was split into four team and had to play against one another to see who will come out on. Overall the red quarter won. Justin from the red team was over the moon as his side had won.
