Are you new to teaching hockey?
England Hockey are offering a free virtual teacher CPD workshop which aim to help give support, knowledge and confidence to ensure teachers can deliver fun and engaging hockey sessions.
The workshop, which will take place on Thursday 24 November between 4-6pm, is aimed at new teachers and will cover the following:
- Benefits of delivering hockey as a sport (gender equal, leveller, etc)
- Overcome concerns about teaching hockey and explore solutions to common challenges (e.g. facilities, equipment, safety, rules)
- Take away some fun and engaging introductory games that can be played at both primary and secondary
- Explore next steps and where to get further resources and development
You can book via the Hockey Hub - places are limited so don’t delay. Teachers will need to register for free on the Hockey Hub to gain access to the registration page. Once you have registered your details on the Hockey Hub, you will also automatically gain access to the free schools membership.
