B2022 Assembly Resources

Posted 22nd March 2022

We are pleased to share with you the new resources for schools to use, which aim to get young people involved with assembly-friendly activities.

Following our successful Active Assembly (held on Tuesday 01 March) and our National Virtual Competition (launched on Tuesday 15 March), we have created some slides and accompanying notes for colleagues to use when delivering their own assemblies.

These resources will help you share with your young people what the Commonwealth Games are, and encourage them to take part in some simple activities designed to get them active in an assembly setting.

The assembly and activities aim to pique your pupils' interest and knowledge around B2022 and support you in getting further involved in our B2022 National Virtual Competition, where we have developed some personal best challenges linked to the Commonwealth Games values of Humanity, Destiny, and Equality.

We hope you will share with us any pictures or videos of you delivering your assemblies - don’t forget to use the hashtag #B2022SGVirtualComp to ensure your school is entered into the monthly prize draw.

We can’t wait to hear how you plan to get involved with the #B2022SGVirtualComp!
