British Triathlon's Active Skills for Life

British Triathlon have launched their Active Skills for Life resources to give every child the opportunity to experience swim, bike and run, and learn valuable skills that will last a lifetime.

Activity Packs and Resources

Within the Active Skills for Life resources suit, there will be two Activity Packs to pick from:

  • Key Stage 2 Curriculum Pack: The curriculum pack gives everything needed to deliver clear and rewarding activities, developed to meet the requirements and expectations of the National Curriculum for PE at Key Stage 2.
  • Summer Camp Pack: Not just for summer, these activities provide additional games and activities, including bones land-based swim sessions, to engage children in swim, bike and run.

There will also be a range of additional resources available, including:

  • Active Skills for Life Activity packs (KS2 and Summer Camp)
  • Activity Skills for Life Award (training to upskill deliverers)
  • Active Skills for Life Playbook including adaptations for children with SEND
  • Online Skills videos
  • Activity Hub
  • Achievement cards and stickers

Types of Subscription

There are three types of subscription to be a part of Active Skills for Life:

  1.  Active Skills for Life Engage Subscription: Be part of the Active Skills for Life community for free and access a taster of the resources!
  2. Active Skills for Life Enhance Subscription: Active Skills for Life Enhance subscribers gain access to all the resources and training needed to deliver fun and rewarding Active Skills for Life sessions in their setting. Suitable for schools, Community Group and Clubs looking to enhance their provision and offer something new and exciting to children and young people.
  3. Active Skills for Life Franchise: Active Skills for Life Franchise subscribers gain access to all the resources and training needed to deliver fun and rewarding Activity Skills for Life sessions in multiple settings around the UK.
