Free online hockey CPD for Schools- 10 and 26 September
England Hockey are offering teachers support via free online CPD workshops that aim to help give knowledge and confidence to ensure fun and engaging hockey sessions can be delivered.
The workshops are aimed at teachers who are new to delivering hockey and will cover the following:
- Benefits of delivering hockey as a sport - gender equal, leveller etc
- Overcome concerns about teaching hockey and explore solutions to common challenges e.g. facilities, equipment, safety, rules
- Take away 6 weeks of fun and engaging introductory games and schemes of work
- Explore next steps and where to get further resources and development
The first free training dates commence in September. Places are limited so don’t delay.

Teachers need to register for free on the Hockey Hub to gain access to the registration page. Once you have registered your details on the Hockey Hub you will also automatically gain access to the free schools membership.
