Thank you for championing Studio You!

Posted 18th May 2023

Earlier this year, Studio You launched their new website containing a library of virtual lessons to help engage less active girls with their physical education. Now, Studio You is thrilled to announce that they have won a prestigious Sport Industry Award!

Studio You was born from a desire to encourage all girls, regardless of background or ability, to enjoy PE, and with your help they have made real progress towards achieving this goal.

In addition to their exciting awards news, Studio You are also proud to say that 48% of state secondary schools have registered to Studio You, and it has proven to be an effective tool in helping tackle disengagement. Their evaluation shows 84% of girls who have used Studio You say they feel more included in PE lessons, and the platform has contributed to a 20% reduction in the number of less active girls dropping out of physical activity.

As Studio You approaches the end of their second full year, they are busy gathering feedback and compiling data so they can continue to measure their ongoing impact, and ensure they are providing the best possible content for students. They are also working on some exciting new updates to their Teacher Hub - by adding CPD videos, printable skills trackers and links to other helpful resources, Studio You aim to equip teachers with the tools and knowledge they need to use the platform to its full potential.

They want to make sure every girl has the opportunity to access the benefits of Studio You, and there are a number of ways you can help.

Top 3 ways you can support Studio You:

  1. Follow them on Twitter and LinkedIn to make sure you don’t miss their content
  2. Share Studio You resources, including the toolkit available on the side of this page, with any teachers in your network.
  3. Help spread the word about the impact Studio You is having on the least active girls by sharing their bitesize evaluation, which includes details on the platform’s performance.

Studio You thank you for championing them, and for your inspiring commitment to helping girls experience the joy of getting active.
